JOB SUMMARY

Avient is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to join our team that will help develop, implement, and support technology-based solutions. Our team supports Avient personnel at sites world-wide. This global role leverages technology to provide value to all functions and drive business results. Avient exists in different environments, each with dynamic needs and opportunities and we provide solutions that support our business partners.. We invest in large projects to implement systems and deliver new capabilities and we provide support to solve user issues and deliver mission critical solutions. In this role, you will work closely with our business partners and collaborate across all IT departments at our headquarters and sites around the world.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support our global manufacturing systems landscape by running projects to deploy and maintain different solutions to sites around the world.
- Work with business partners to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Partner across IT to maintain, patch and upgrade production systems.
- Provide break-fix support and possible off-hours support.
- Maintain relevant technical documentation to ensure streamlined support and knowledge transfer within areas of responsibility.
- Completes special projects and ad-hoc reporting as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years' experience as an Analyst supporting Information Technology.
- Advanced investigation and problem-solving skills to determine root cause of issues and solve problems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team at all levels.
- Excellent collaboration skills within a team, across other IT functions, and with business users.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities including good time management skills.
