GTL is adding a strategic Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The Sales Engineer will partner with the business development team to drive new business and revenue growth by providing technical expertise, competitive positioning, and GTL product solutioning to current and prospective customers.
Responsibilities:
*Prepare and execute on-site technical presentations, demos, and lab testing for prospective and current GTL customers as well as internal team members and partners.
*Design and deliver engaging product presentations that demonstrate an in-depth understanding of GTL's product suite (functions, features, value, and ROI, etc.).
*Work with AE/AM's on existing product evaluations to ensure GTL technology is leading the market.
*Actively collect competitive intel and share data with internal stakeholders.
*Help to tailor and develop RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc. responses.
*Complete GTL SOW accurately and in a timely fashion.
*Provide real-world feedback to the development teams about existing and missing features of the product portfolio.
*Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the GTL Demo Environment (including data).
*Configure, optimize, customize, and test GTL's recommended solution to customer to ensure a smooth, hassle-free demo.
*Develop fundamental understanding of entire GTL product suite and become proficient will entire product line.
*Attend industry trade shows in support of GTL's marketing efforts.
*Partner with the business development sales team members (AEs and AMs) to provide technical professional development on GTL's product offerings to ensure product knowledge and functionality so that all team members are capable of highlighting GTL's competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
*Minimum of 2-5 years of related sales engineering experience.
*Strong technical aptitude with an ability to creatively apply technology solutions to customer-specific business requirements.
*Effectively able to present technical material to small and large groups, both technical and non-technical.
*Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
*Strong analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving abilities.
*Able to successfully work in the fast-paced environment while meeting competing deadlines.
*Ability and willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.
