GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Janitor role is responsible for keeping buildings/facilities clean, disinfected and orderly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain cleanliness and supplies in lunchrooms, restrooms, and plant common areas.
• Review cleaning supplies, document needed inventory and reorder as needed.
• Responsible for keeping all plant floors clean and dumping all rubbish bins into proper containers.
• Safely operate and maintain all powered cleaning equipment.

EDUCATION

• No High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

EXPERIENCE

• No prior experience or training.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to take written and verbal direction.
