Wax Mold Inspector - 1st shift
Title: Mold Inspector
Status: Hourly
Shift: 1st
Reports To: Reports to Wax Process Engineer
Location: Mentor
Responsibility: Perform wax assembler duties for developmental as well as production molds and inspect molds to insure conformity to SOP's and EP's.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment. Previous casting experience is a plus.
Must have experience with misc. hand tools, tables, racks, boxes, safety guidelines, feeds, grinders, inspection tools, etc.
Skills:
Specific Duties:
Visually inspect mold after assembly complete.
Insure that mold conforms to SOP and EP criteria.
Repair defects identified in mold or return to assembler to repair as determined by supervisor.
Provide feedback to Assembler and Assembly Trainer.
Record all work performed and check routing card for accuracy.
Meet an acceptable level of performance and show proficient understanding of Engineering and Quality instructions.
Keeps work area clean, orderly, and in safe condition, following all safety rules.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors.
Must be willing to be trained as Wax Assembler.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
