Job Purpose

The Sr. Sales Analyst will engage with both internal and external stakeholders to help Dana Aftermarket more efficiently manage the day to day activities that are associated with supporting large complex customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inside sales support for strategic account managers.
  • Coordination between sales and finance on development and analysis of proposal proformas.
  • Support of strategic sales team in creation and submission of quotes for pricing approval.
  • Ensure that all new customer GTN deals are properly accounted for with finance teams.
  • Reconciliation/tracking for retailer contractual deductions working with sales and finance teams.
  • Manage process on retail customer defect/warranty/labor claims to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Rebate management/reconciliation/tracking for program groups.
  • Support of strategic and other sales teams in customer pricing alignment.
  • Local liaison for marketing and performance channel activities.
  • Track customer fill rate penalties and ensure that they reconcile with internal metrics.
  • Document processes and work to continuously improve efficiency of completing them.
  • Other sales support activities as required
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Administration or Related Field preferred
  • 3-5 years in a sales or finance related position
  • Experience in Commercial Vehicle and/or Light Vehicle Aftermarket preferred

  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • Strong leadership qualities
