Job Description

Summary:

The Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for realizing procurement cost savings by identifying new and alternate sources for goods and services and negotiating price reductions. The ideal candidate will possess a knack for identifying procurement cost-saving opportunities and possess exceptional communication skills.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of procurement cost reduction initiatives, working closely with new and existing suppliers to identify, evaluate, and implement cost-saving opportunities.
  • Identify and recommend innovative ideas to minimize costs and ensure the timely and efficient monitoring and tracking of cost-saving projects.
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to forecast monthly budgets accurately and reconcile actual costs against forecasts, providing detailed analysis and explanations.
  • Determine accurate total landed costs for goods and services.
  • Develop reports to visually communicate progress, performance, and financial metrics, enabling effective communication to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Prepare and deliver concise and compelling savings initiatives, and recommendations.
  • Maintain a highly organized approach ensuring tasks are prioritized, deadlines are met, and documentation is maintained.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or 3 - 5 years procurement experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate information in a concise and understandable manner.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized self-starter, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
