Our corporate activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, Security Officer to work in our world class Security Operations Center. This position will work on a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company's success. Seeking individuals for 3rd Shift, which includes a 10% shift differential on top of hourly rate for this specific shift!

Responsibilities
    Utilize CCTV system to monitor exterior doors, building parameters, and sensitive building areas
  • Utilize access control system to monitor badge activities, verify access, and remotely unlock/lock access points
  • Monitor and respond to alarms, alerts, notifications, and other security events
  • Dispatch officers to alarm, disturbance, and escort requests
  • Enter incident data into case management system
  • Ensure that all security systems, equipment, and devices are working properly
  • Report all safety and security related incidents to security supervisor
  • Complete all assigned safety and training programs
  • May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma and 0-2 years of experience in a security related function
  • Current and legal Driver's License
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and ladders
  • Demonstrated ability to follow procedures directed by work orders, peers and/or supervisor
  • Working knowledge of basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, Internet based systems and electronic work order systems
  • Demonstrated ability to adequately communicate (written and oral) with employees and external parties, as necessary
  • Knowledge of the work hazards and applicable safety precautions associated with the area of work assignment
