DLZ Corporation is looking for a CAD Technician in Columbus, OH.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work involving the application of engineering skills and practices which includes plan preparation, detail drawing, reports etc. for geotechnical/transportation/bridge design projects.
  • Work directly with Designers and Engineers during various phases of a project as assigned.
  • Understand and apply engineering principles and practices.
  • Produce large scale, complex drawings.
  • Manage deadlines and prioritize assignments.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent required
  • Associate Degree and/or Civil Engineering Technician Certificate a plus
  • 1 or more years AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience
  • 1 or more years OpenRoads/MicroStation experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.
