Applies knowledge and experience in acquisition program management to specified programs throughout their life cycles. Demonstrates mastery of the acquisition process and areas relating to acquisition policy matters including acquisition streamlining, integrated systems management, manning, best practices and lessons learned. Demonstrates extensive expertise in interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments.
Will support the Program Executive Officer (PEO) for Agile Combat Systems, Program Execution Group (PEG) with the following duties:
- Provide direct support to ASC/WN Director by providing Department of Defense (DoD) 5000 and AFI 161 series expertise and:
- Supports Division Commanders by coordinating requirements for the ACS Director/PEO and:
Minimum Experience Requirements: 15 years of USAF Acquisition Management experience of which 5 years must be in a Defense acquisition program as either a program/project manager, IPT lead, or sub-IPT lead. At least one year of defense acquisition management experience must have been obtained within the last 5 years prior to selection for employment under this contract. A Bachelor's degree in a relative area may be substituted for 3 years of experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
