Basic Function | The Associate Director of Affinity Engagement is responsible for managing affinity-based alumni networks, events, volunteers, communications, and programs. Affinity programming is focused on cohorts of alumni with a shared interest or experience. This position will manage affinity-based volunteers and committees while strategically developing programs and communications to engage, connect and inform. The Associate Director of Affinity Engagement is a member of the Alumni Engagement Programming team and plays an important role in successfully executing the strategic priorities for alumni engagement. The position is a member of the Alumni and Family Engagement Office and the Division of Institutional Advancement. |

Minimum Qualifications | Required: Bachelor's degree Required: Minimum of 3 years in Alumni Engagement or similar field; experience working with volunteers. Relevant experience can be substituted for education. |
Preferred Qualifications | Preferred: Master's degree Preferred: Minimum 5 years in Alumni Engagement or similar field Relevant experience can be substituted for education. |
Physical Demands | Position requires walking, climbing stairs and ability to move up to 20 lbs using appropriate equipment or assistance as needed. |
