Vaco is partnering with a top-notch company in the San Antonio area to hire a passionate, enthusiastic, and inspired individual for the role of IT Architect Manager. Our client has a need to add a resource to the team and hire the resource on a full time basis. The resource will have the responsibility to lead and manage the IT Architecture Organization. This position will be responsible for supporting solution and technical architects in both the IT domain as well as continuing to build out an advanced architecture practice. This position will play a vital role in developing the organization's future vision, product roadmaps and value stream roadmaps as well as driving innovation in technology to deliver forward-looking solutions.Key Responsibilities
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of a team of technical experts and solution architects, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure assignments are completed in accordance with established guidelines and advice on conflicting priorities.
  • Understands the overall organizational vision and collaborates with management to set team goals that translate into actionable plans at the team level. Adapt and execute plans and priorities based on established strategies and objectives.
  • Recommend, develop, organize, and communicate roadmaps and contribute to Value Stream roadmaps for IT. Assign appropriate IT personnel to roadmap activities, monitor, and expedite activities, and oversee problem resolution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree required
* 10+ years of diversified IT experience
* 3+ years leading professional staff

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
