Job Description

The Senior Analyst is responsible for the implementation of Oracle ERP Cloud. The role will partner with the Business Transformation team, Global Business Owners, and other DT teams to execute the rollout of Oracle ERP cloud across the globe. The role will be responsible for working in a hybrid agile environment, leading sprint sessions, assisting in gathering user requirements and configuring and testing the ERP system within the Oracle ecosystem and across to boundary systems with focus towards O2C oracle modules and boundary systems. This role will partner with other DT teams to introduce functions like automated system testing, Digital integration platform integrations etc. The role will also work closely with the EDO organization to ensure that consistent data and reporting standards are being used. The role will be matrixed into different working pods and will be constantly collaborating and communicating across teams both in IT and business.

  • Lead and drive digital effectiveness through strategic thinking and influence while providing value to business partners.
  • Work across the entirety of the workstream to ensure functional knowledge is shared by multiple people on the team.
    • Take initiative to mentor and train other people within the team and ensure that people are enabled to use those new skills.
  • Deliver Enterprise products that integrate business and financial plan, drive decision making and provide forward-looking insights.
    • Drive product standardization and consistency to support business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with business unit leaders, Finance Transformation, Business Process Owners to define the business capabilities and experiences to be enabled by product teams.
    • Effectively prepare and lead meetings with multiple stakeholders across business, IT and implementation partner
  • Responsible for independently leading specific functions of various projects and products/capabilities to continually enhance the Finance Workstream Investments.
    • Serves as the lead analyst over the Oracle application and partners with DT leadership to ensure cohesiveness of boundary system solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC stage gates for set-up, build and commercialization of digital products.

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 5+ years IT experience.
  • 3+ years Oracle application experience in any of the following modules: Accounts Receivable, Advanced Collections, Credit Management, iReceivables, Subledger Accounting (SLA), eBusiness Tax, Payables, General Ledger
  • 3+ years' experience of ERP implementation experience
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Demonstrated skill in leading meetings effectively with business and IT.
  • Proven ability to communicate professionally horizontally and vertically across business, IT and consulting partners.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
  • Expertise with configuration and setups for Oracle modules
  • Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
  • Demonstrated skill in preparation and maintenance of implementation documents.
  • Understand various essential business functions of an organization.
  • Strong commitment to inclusion and diversity.
  • Basic understanding of Oracle Cloud Roles, responsibilities & Privileges.

Preferred:

  • Agile methodology knowledge/experience
  • Understanding and support of business processes around OTC (Order to cash)
  • Experience working with High Radius Collections Cloud
  • Experience on integrations with third party tax packages such as Vertex, Taxware, OneSource.
  • Experience working in Oracle Cloud ERP is preferred.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Ability to understand underlying table structures of Oracle modules.
  • Basic SQL skills
  • Advanced systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven strong ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Proven strong ability to lead initiatives independently and meet timelines.
  • Demonstrated leading meetings effectively with business and IT.
  • Excellent communication skills both horizontally and vertically across business, IT and consulting partners
  • Proven ability to collaborate successfully across tracks and across teams.
  • Highly skilled in being able to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
  • Expertise with configuration and setups for Oracle modules
  • Demonstrated skill to investigate and research new solutions and apply that information to solve business problems.
  • Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of various essential business functions of an organization.
