The Production Planning Manager:
- Maximize donation by ensuring needed tissue grafts are created and tissues are processed within acceptable time frames and qualifications.
- Manage private label and OEM PO graft production to ensure on time delivery. This includes decisions on capability to hit the due dates requested on incoming orders as well as build to stock items and provide accurate and timely delivery status and lead times to Sales/Customer Service.
- Establish and maintain high level metrics for team, lead team and use trend analysis to monitor performance. Performs process flow mapping when necessary.
- Responsible to align the overall production plan and master schedules with manufacturing capability/capacity.
- Work closely with Processing Managers to ensure all graft production schedules are being attained.
- Track production to plan KPIs for the production team.
- Determine inventory levels in conjunction with manufacturing lead times to ensure tissue inventory levels are being met and maintained to support sales plan.
- Improve and create SOPs for planning as needed.
- Hire, supervise, and coach Production Planners.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Background in a manufacturing environment with production planning, supply chain, and production scheduling experience.
Work Environment/Physical Activities:
- Overnight travel may be required, including flights on chartered or commercial aircraft.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by Solvita insurance provider.
- Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
