Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Check Remittance Mail Processor with our client located in Akron, OH. This is a 12-month contract position.

Compensation:
$19.00 per hour.

Work Schedule: Monday -
Friday from 3 am through 11 am.

Job Duties:
  • Operate a variety of equipment such as the Opex 50/51, the Burroughs DP600. 7200 and 180 along with high-speed machines such as the Opex 150 and MPS 40,
  • Receives, sorts, prepare and process remittances and invoice data.
  • Opens mail and extracts paper invoices/payments; sorts and prepares batches for processing
  • Capture check and document images utilizing high-speed imaging equipment
  • Identify and sort payment types as defined by established instructions
  • Sort out and label all missorts and rejects
  • Cross-train and learn to perform other job functions within operations
  • Successful candidates will be working in collaborative environment, where collectively, team members will be working towards the same production and quality goals. Accuracy and attention to detail to meet production and quality standards are imperative while working in this fast-paced high-speed environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • Previous remittance/lockbox experience is preferred
  • Data entry experience preferred
  • Basic PC operating skills (e.g. Microsoft Windows)
  • Ability to stand the majority of an eight hour shift when needed
  • Ability to intermittently lift between 10 to 20 pounds
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic work-related instructions such as training materials, policies, work orders and other media communications, in English
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and holidays as required
  • Interpersonal skills - teamwork
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast- paced environment
