Reporting to the Chief People Officer as a key member of Resilience's West Chester Ohio site leadership team, the HR Director plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing people and culture strategies that align with the company's goals and foster a positive and inclusive site work culture.

The HR Director must be both versatile and analytically minded to serve as a consultant and advisor to management, an employee champion, and a change agent. The successful HR Director leverages workforce insights to anticipate needs and moves with high velocity to deliver integrated solutions that enhance performance, develop talent at all levels, fostering a culture of accountability,, execution, collaboration, inclusivity and network thinking in a rapidly evolving site.

Job Responsibilities (Including Key Result Areas, Specific Accountabilities, Tasks, Etc.)

  • Collaborates with employees, business leaders and teams across Resilience to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives with a focus on growth demands.
  • Contribute to the development of the site's business strategy while also representing the site's needs within the broader Human Resources context, linking the site and the functional human resources goals and strategies.
  • Develops strategic workforce plans in conjunction with the business and HR to ensure the workforce shape and skills required to deliver the business strategy.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to improve financial outcomes and develops interventions to drive productivity and profitability of the business. Monitors and analyzes data to make decisions regarding staffing and operational budget.
  • Drives employee engagement efforts. Continuously monitors and analyzes data, anecdotes, and ever-changing factors to maintain a pulse on the organization.
  • Oversees site employee relations, working closely with leaders on disciplinary and performance correction actions while ensuring a positive work environment and effective conflict resolution.
  • Partners with the Talent Acquisition team to attract top talent and ensure a diverse and skilled workforce.
  • Champions career development, building and implementing targeted development programs and working across teams to build career paths and development opportunities that showcase and open employees' eyes to career possibilities.
  • Facilitates succession planning for key talent and critical hiring needs.
  • Implements effective performance management processes and provides coaching and support to managers for performance improvement.
  • Manages individual and site HR team performance expectations, goals and service levels, ensuring high-performing HR team support for the site.
  • Mitigates risks and ensures compliance with regulations, professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation. Develops and implements policies and procedures that align with legal and ethical standards.

Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Progressive multi-faceted human resources experience with demonstrated outcomes in talent management, recruitment, change management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and organizational development. Possesses a working knowledge of compensation.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively lead and develop a high-performance human resources function and team successfully within complex environments, e.g. matrixed, evolving, fast-growth
  • Strategic thinker capable of breaking down complex problems to make data-driven decisions and deliver outcomes that best serve employees and business teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence and build trusting relationships at all levels.
  • High judgment with the degree of integrity that encourages others to trust and seek advice and counsel.
  • Flexible and adaptable style; comfortable navigating through ambiguity
  • Possess continuous passion for cultivating talent and the overall employee experience
  • Be continuously curious, sustaining a deep understanding of best practices in the HR discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative solutions with the conviction that brings others along on the journey.
  • Effective project management skills, with demonstrated success in prioritizing multiple priorities and delivering outcomes through own hands-on efforts and through leading others.

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 24x7 Site Manufacturing HR experience

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $155,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
