The Medpace Analytics team is growing rapidly and is focused on building a data driven culture across the enterprise. Responsibilities

WHAT'S INVOLVED?

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to add additional depth to our growing Analytical team in a variety of areas - from Visualization and Storytelling to SQL, Data Modeling, and Data Warehousing. This is a critical role which will be responsible for developing, supporting, and enhancing reports and dashboards across the enterprise.

An ideal candidate in this role will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and experience and knowledge of best practices to continue developing our Analytics capabilities as well as coaching and mentoring more junior analysts.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE - AND WHY WE NEED YOU!

  • Demonstrable data analysis and data mining skills (SQL, DAX, Data Modeling, etc.)
  • Strong data visualization skills within Power BI (or other data visualization suite)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Understanding of reporting and business intelligence best practices
  • Good understanding of BI concepts (e.g. data governance, data lineage tools, data management, data modeling, data cleansing, data extraction and transformation (ELT/ETL), and data analysis)
  • Experience working on high performing Agile/Scrum teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Computer Science or similar
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft BI Stack - or combination of relevant technologies
  • Solid understanding of BI concepts, and the ability to articulate these concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in business data modeling, metadata structure and business subject areas for key business processes
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum framework (preferred)
