The Geriatric Medicine Program at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a board certified/eligible Geriatrician. Clinical opportunities exist in a wide range of services including outpatient Geriatrics Assessment Clinic, Inpatient ACE (Acute Care for Elders) Service, House Calls program, Inpatient Geriatrics Consult and Co-Management Service, long term care, skilled nursing facility, and PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). An interest in teaching is preferred as the Geriatrics Division is very active in educational endeavors involving inter-professional trainees: geriatrics fellows, residents, medical students, pharmacy students, PA students, and NP students.

UHCMC is a 900+ bed quaternary referral center for the UH health system, a 17 hospital network serving 1.2 million patients in Northeast Ohio. UHCMC is an academic affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (CWRUSOM).

Academic appointment, rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and primary board certification. Compensation is highly competitive.
