Company OverviewDirections For Youth & Families is the newly formed agency combining services of Directions For Youth and Crittenton Family Services. Directions is a private not-for-profit whose combined history includes over 100 years of service to youth and families in central Ohio. Last year, Directions saw over 7,000 people in need through 24 different programs.We are accepting applications and resumes for full-time and part-time staff to provide services in community-based treatment, intervention and prevention programs. Salaries are competitive and include generous benefits and merit-based compensation adjustments. Hours are flexible and continuing education is encouraged. Services are provided in an outreach model, not limited to the offices of Directions For Youth & Families, but occur in the most appropriate location for the progress of the client. The main agency facility was constructed in 1999, and includes access to a fully equipped fitness center, free secure parking and a state-of-the-art working environment. There are three other locations: one in the East Side, the West Side and the Short North area. We also have satellite offices in area Opportunity Centers. In the Short North area, you'll find the Short Stop Youth Center, a community-based arts center. Candidates must be effective in providing group, individual and/or family services with culturally diverse children and adolescents. Must address needs such as: substance abuse, delinquency, abuse/neglect, domestic violence and a variety of other issues. Positions include social workers, counselors, prevention specialists, therapists, case managers and outreach workers All program positions require a Bachelor's degree in social work or related field. Depending on the position, an LSW/LPC, LISW/LPCC or CCDC credential may be required. Directions For Youth & Families is an equal opportunity employer.
